Summer Solstice Market

Last Saturday I had the pleasure to perform at the Midzommermarkt at @edanzvoorgroei

It's been a while for me so I was super excited :) It was a perfect summer day, and I was closing it with my set, so I just went for it and took the audience on a little journey: we slowed down, took a lot of deep breaths, connected with one another..

I shared stories of common humanity - about losing our way and hope, about reconnecting to trust and our ability to surrender to life, about praying for love and touch, about coming back home...

That same day Pride was being celebrated in Groningen and so as a queer person I couldn't miss that opportunity to invite everyone to send our love to all of our queer siblings on the streets to show our solidarity in these trying times..

I ended the set with a song of liberation and hope.. with a deep trust and prayer that we make it to the other side of whatever's ahead of us..
